if you have trouble connecting, try these instructions. Canon website did not help me. I found these instructions elsewhere and they worked for me.
I was having trouble switching devices. You have to delete the connection before connecting to a new one.
- Go to the "Camera Settings" menu
- Scroll down to the "Mobile Device Connect Button" option.
- Hit "OK" to remove the current registered device.
- Press the "Mobile Device Connect Button" (aka the "wifi" button) to register a "new" destination, even though its the same iPhone device
