Useless App - constantly fails, too many steps to connect to iPhone with 6D - why can't it simply remember the camera and connect instead of being an embarrassment

Camera Connect does not work anymore since last update. Not possible anymore to upload pictures on iPhone or iPad. Please solve this quickly!

after automatic upgrade to the final version camera connect fails every time I want to use iphone with my 6d! this is fucking impossible to download photos from the camera! I will go and buy sony, nikon ant etc. camera because of such stupid upgrades of your mobile apps!

Canon camera window, the previous app, worked just fine. This new one, therefore, doesnt! I cant access my camera pictures from my iPhone not my iPad. Can you fix it, please? My canon is a Ixy 430F. Thanks

Ya, its the worst, just the worst. After the first connection, the app never connected to my iPad again, despite resets and reinstalls. Save time and use a card reader to transfer your photos.

Spent a hour to get this working. Next time I used it, spent another hour and nothing works. Garbage.

Has only worked once since synced with phone. Every time after that the phone says please turn on camera, and the Canon PowerShot SX530HS camera says not connected to iPhone. I have went through several re-sets, deleting the app, and several hours later still unable to work ......what a waste of time.

This is thrash, app does not work despite several attempts, including resetting on the camera. At least the old app worked! Why replace something with an app that doesnt work! Get it fixed Canon

I got the app up and connected to the camera with no problems. The issue I have is that the remote feature takes photos, but does not work for videos which is an issue considering many of Canons cameras are used by youtubers and vlogers. Please add video remote to the app!

I have a an IPhone 6 and a Canon 70d. I have never been able to get the phone to connect to the camera. Thankfully I still have the old EOS Remote app and that still works great! Canon, please give us new products that work!

Very annoying to use. Confusing layout, constant error messages to update app. Cloud features incomprehensible. Canon, make a new app for English speaking markets. Dont use your Japanese team to do it.

I think what everyone is trying to do is use your wifi phone providers wifi. But it doesnt connect to your phone that way. The camera sends out a wifi signal and using your phone you have look for your cameras wifi or cameras signal from your phones selection of wifi signals to connect to the camera. Not the other way around. I did it the other way looking for my phones wifi instead, so no work. But I got it going now. Wish there was more to it than just controlling the zoom and taking single shots. What about rapid shooting and keeping the camera sounds to mute. Should be great on photographing birds and wildlife! But there is a slight delay from the phone to the camera in speed. Never the less its good!

You can only use it for the T6is and others. What a piss off.

Please make this app work for IPhone users. Its so annoying. It used to work with my Xperia phone but now I dont have it anymore.
