Stopped working

This app used to work. Now, it recognizes the camera access point, but wont connect to the camera. Ive reviewed the help on Canon USA website. It just isnt working now. Please fix the app.

Having trouble connecting

if you have trouble connecting, try these instructions. Canon website did not help me. I found these instructions elsewhere and they worked for me. I was having trouble switching devices. You have to delete the connection before connecting to a new one. - Go to the "Camera Settings" menu - Scroll down to the "Mobile Device Connect Button" option. - Hit "OK" to remove the current registered device. - Press the "Mobile Device Connect Button" (aka the "wifi" button) to register a "new" destination, even though its the same iPhone device

Seriously Canon?!?!

Useless. Does not even work. Some instructions within the app would be useful. Bottom line to others reading this, if you are wanting to transfer images from camera to phone, buy an Eyefi sd card and be done with it. Youll be happy you did.

Does not work.

I used to be able to access pictures from my EOS 6D. Since the software updates, neither app will access my camera. I just used this a few weeks ago so I know how its supposed to work.

iOS 9.3

This app does not work with iOS 9.3. It was working with my previous software versions. Please fix this issue!

Works Great

I normally dont write reviews but felt compelled to on behalf of this great software Canon has. Camera - Rebel 6s iPad - Pro Length of time to set up - 5 min I was able to setup the connection fairly easily. I had to go into the cameras wifi settings and turn it on so that it could be recognized. I had to give it a name that the iPad would recognize. The camera gives you a encryption code. So you enter the wifi settings of the iPad. Search for the camera name. Enter the encryption code that was given into password. Done. I checked images on the camera through the iPad and they looked great. Thats everything I needed personally. You may need more functions. So a great thanks goes out to Canon. Well done guys and thanks!

Works fine on my other devices

I have a 2013 nexus 7 and it works perfectly fine on that. My dad has a iPhone 6 Plus and it works well on that too. But it NEVER works on my iPhone 6. When I start the app, it comes up blank. I cant even connect my camera to it. Fix this problem please, as I am not the only one with it

LORDYYYY, it doesnt even work anymore!! Been waiting for these people to fix this app forever. I get back todayand try again and my camera wouldnt connect at all!! Fix pleaseeeee

It works, slowly

Its great having this app at all. Really. But it can be slow to recognize my camera, and it cant get RAW images from the camera.

Doesnt connect!!

What is the point of having a wifi camera if I cant connect to my phone?!?! This app doesnt work at all, the old one was so much better, anyone know if another brand camera wifi works better? Canon doesnt seem to care...

Disappointed

I updated this app and am no longer able to connect my camera to my iPhone 6. For a camera (body alone), that cost me $1500, the promised app should work without any questions. Very disappointed in canon and its app support.

Works great, but needs more options

A good start but needs improvement

I’ve been using this app for months to do astrophotography with an EOS 6D. After going through the somewhat convoluted setup to connect to my iPad, it works pretty reliably and having access to shutter speed and ISO settings in the app is extremely valuable. Being able to take images without touching the telescope and then showing them on the iPad is a definite plus. But the app lacks access to other settings like white balance that could be useful. And the bright backgrounds on the app will kill your night-vision in a hurry. Unfortunately, Canon seems to have no interest in taking feedback from their loyal customers. If you follow the link to Support in iTunes, you’re not taken to a page on the app but just dumped into the middle of their web site. Canon used to work closely with their customers to improve products. Anyway, it seems a waste to have the hardware allow for app integration and Canon drop the ball on making it an overall positive experience.

Doesnt work at all

Not happy! This app doesnt work at all. Just a blank screen!

The Latest Update Ruined It

I had no problems with this app before the last update. However, now it wont allow me to pull my RAW files through Wi-Fi from my 6D. This was one of my favorite features on the 6D! I was able to shoot, pull an image off and upload it for a client sneak peek. Not anymore though. Disappointed.
