Canon Camera Connect App Reviews

Downloaded to my iPad Air2 last night. Uploaded pics from an Eos6D. Took about 3 minutes of tinkering with the settings but then uploaded pics just fine. Not as automatic or intuitive as some other apps, but it does work well..

This app never works

This app replaced the old one. Now my cameras 6D and SX700HS will no longer connect with new app. Deleted and reinstalled, tried everything. Agree with other reviews, Canon just doesnt seem to care to rectify this.

I have been useing the app for over a Year with my canon sx-60, its been fine kinda slow, I recently upgraded to a canon 80d but I still use my other camera, the app is way faster with the 80d but Im yet to figure out how to keep both cameras connected

I hope someone from Canon is reading this. After purchasing the camera and taking pictures I cant connect to my phone, my iPad, my laptop or even my wifes phone! The ONLY REASON I PAID EXTRA FOR THE WIFI FEATURE!!!!! From this horrible and frustrating experience I can tell canon this.; They have lost a customer for life and I will boycott their shitty not connecting products. Like previous posts, u think a company like canon could hire an app developer who can actually make a decent working app. To canon: whoever ur app developer is, ur paying em to much for this garbage

This works great with my 80d. Love it, lets you adjust all the camera setting from your phone!

Faulty piece of garbage unable to connect. Absolutely despicable

The app is slow connecting at times. Would be nice if could connect to my IPad directly rather than through a router. It would be a great addition if one could use the app to delete photos from the camera. The camera is clunky in that you have to press a button about six times to delete each photo and to delete a group of photos usually does not work as a few good ones in the grouped. To be able to tick off many photos with the app and then delete a batch would be fantastic. Thanks for the app.

I have tried connecting my camera to my iPhone and sometimes they just wont connect and they are both connected to the same wifi. My camera tells me to open the app and I do. The app says operate camera and I do. And then nothing happens

This app hasnt worked for me for almost a month now. Useless. Now I have to plug my camera in to my computer and move the images from there to my phone just for an Instagram post.

The wifi icon is on, on the camera display but it will not connect to my iPhone 6. Very frustrating! Tried to trouble shoot but nothing is working!!

This is a HUGE disappointment!! I bought this camera specifically because it had wifi compatibility but I have yet been able to connect with my device. Not impressed !!

I bought this camera specifically for its Wi-fi capabilities and Im really frustrated that it has not worked since the new App was downloaded. The camera wont connect to the APP. There have been enough bad reviews, Im surprised the issues havent been resolved yet. Hoping Canon puts out some trouble shooting options soon or I will have to take my business elsewhere.

This app is garbage. I had the version before, worked perfectly. Updated it to this garbage and my phone connects but the pictures do not show up at all. Super disappointed, Canon can make insanely technologically advanced cameras, but cant great a decent functioning app..

Connected my iPhone 5s using the program. Phone and camera worked as they should. I could take pictures using my phone, transferring photos was easy too. Rebel T6i.
