Horrible

I wish I had read the reviews about the app. first. The camera takes great pictures but I paid $50 more for the wifi option. It wont let me upload the pics from the camera onto my iPhone. What a waste. I should have just bought the regular camera and used the SD card since thats what Ill be doing anyway.

It doesnt work at all

Please fix it. It could not work on my 6d even connecting to my camera. Please fix it as sony does it very well in their software

Does Just What I Need

I got this app to transfer photos from my new camera to my iPad, and it does just that. Nuff said.

Doesnt work!!

Furious this app no longer connects to my phone AND there are NO instructions within the app AT ALL. Went to a spring baseball tournament and took pictures for other parents that couldnt be there and I was going to send them from my phone to theirs after I transferred the images! What a waste.

AF button no longer works in remote shooting

The button stopped working, it only meters now! When in remote shooting, you can go into settings and create an AF button. Its like half pressing the shutter to lock focus. It stopped working on the 6D. If I turn off the AF button, it will still focus, but it does the slow focus every shot. This is a problem for the way I shoot. Otherwise, it transfers JPGs ok to allow getting a photo onto the phone quickly. Clunky app, but glad its available.

Worst Ever

Why not hire somebody from GoPro who actually knows how to design a Wi-Fi interface thats simple and works? Its insane to promise wifi connection and not spend a little effort on offering a customer friendly experience. Just one more reason Im rethinking my whole investment in the Canon system...

Doesnt work

I can only get the camera to connect to my iPhone occasionally. Even when I can get it to work I cant save the pictures to my iPhone. It says to change the privacy in setting, which I imagine would be a simple fix if there was a privacy option in settings. What a waste of money to buy a camera with wifi when the wifi doesnt work.

Un-workable App

In a day where there are so many apps that work so intuitively with the user you would think that Canon could put up a better effort. I cannot get the camera to connect with my iPad or iPhone and there are no instructions or places to go for help. For a technology company Canon has really dropped the ball.

Raw File

Works good for jpeg but needs to support RAW file. Please upgrade

Gee, Canon, done it again! Your on-screen instructions are extremely detailed! I wouldnt have even the slightest deviation of knowledge about how to do any of this! So clear!

Whoever the people are posting positive reviews about this app must be Canon plants - it doesnt work with the latest Mac software for desktops, iPads or iPhones

I love this I just connected my camera and I could transfer all my pictures. The are perfectly clear and everything. Thanks Canon

Needs raw support

The application needs full size support for raw files. Currently when importing raw files my iPad gets a very small resolution preview of the image. Other than that, I did not find any issues. iPad Air 2 / iOS 9.3 / 6D

Doesnt work

Worked on my iPhone 6 but when I got an iPhone 6s Plus it doesnt work. Very frustrating

Shamefully bad

A corporation as huge as Canon should be ashamed of this pile. Upgraded from a 60D to an 80D to take advantage of WiFi functionality, only to be disappointed by this terrible app. Managed to get it connected to my iPad (OS 9.3) ONCE over my network, now I cannot get it to connect or see the camera at all. This shouldnt be this cumbersome. Automatic RAW to JPEG conversion is also a bit annoying. Step it up, Canon, youre better than this!

Nice functionality

All these reviews about it lacks this and its lacking that...just calm down and enjoy the basic features it does have. The remote option alone is a huge plus..I cant tell you how many times Ive been at a location where I could have used the live view on my phone. The simple remote had to do and a few trips back and forth to make the necessary adjustments. Thats no longer needed. I give it 5 stars for solid effort and hopefully the updates will continue to come.
